without having to reinstall that little troublemaker x2,i use it for a vocal fx  and quick repair like nudge and tone. it was ok as long as you bounce the track after you repair something. and I know melodyne is better and more versital but, still I haven't yet been able to get down the workflow aspects of it and I used it on 80% of my old projects .so I saw on a thread before ,. first thing is where would I put it since its directx, on my plugin drive since I have so many, I gave them there own home with my projects on the E drive, and I have x3 on the c drive since its a SSD and has great trans rate.not shure on my next move so just need some input before I break my fresh and perfectly installed new win7 64 and sonar x3 on my studio rig. i test things on another comp before they get near my studio, and have yet to get vvocal in x3>/?1 thing I don't like is having to play the clip just to fix it before I open vvocal on the clip select repair bounce took about 10 seconds per clip. if you have it set up right.melodyne it seems needs to play the clip to get it to load. sorry I just would take anyones opinion and there workflow tips at this point.

i believe you can run the x2 installer and choose to install vvoc only, without x2.

+1 - just do a custom X2 install for only V-Vocal.

Actually, I have done that. I had to do a advance(custom) install of X2 program and uncheck everything else because V-vocal is build into X2 program but not as a vst plugin.

It's not a regular vst that can be scanned by plugin manager.

It's a process which is accessed in X3 via the Region Fx tab in Track View

Don't be surprised if it has limited functionality on projects that were created in X2 and before, at least that's been my experience.  It seems to work fine in projects that are created in X3, though.  It is true that there is no "separate" install of V-Vocal on the disk - you have to custom install X2 with limited add-ons.

It's a process which is accessed in X3 via the Region Fx tab in Track View.il be quick to leave a full working solutuion and if any hickups,

again I ask just unclick everything in the install like plugs then since its not a plug and I don't need them on my other drive.
