When trying to create a region ffx with Melodyne or V-vocal, I get this error. Anyone know what it means? I am having trouble with playback of the clip being edited so I am wondering what this is really about.

Select region of clip to edit
right-click and select melodyne or V-vocal
select create region FX

This seems to happen on the first attempt to create a region and not much else. After that, any region selected for the fx does not playback any of the changed audio. I only get playback from the original clip. I have used V-vocal in the past and it is not behaving the way I expect it to either.

I am using 64-bit VST3 processing

This may have something to do with the way lanes are processed in a track when the lanes are not showing(collapsed). I tried to process all of this in the track view and not the lanes. This is likely another symptom of an issue I ran into processing muted clips in lanes without displaying the lanes. SONAR would process the first lane(all lanes collapsed) which was muted and not the target clip based on the viewable clip in the track.

Not sure if you are aware but we offer free phone support which is toll free in the US. Since you are having a few issues, might be worth giving us a call to see if we can resolve these issues rather than passive aggressively marking your posts as "NOT SOLVED"

I did. Never got feedback as to the trouble ticket number or not.

If someone has a workaround, that would be great. Looks like you have to process clips in lanes to bypass this issue?

I did call. TS is aware of the issue. I don't know if they opened a ticket or not. I never got a notification or TT/SBM number for reference.

They were able to repro a subsequent issue with melodyne and lanes that may be related. I wonder if they can repro this symptom too.
