Hi guys, I thought as some sort of recreation I would try streaming music from spotify, music player etc. through the room eq and headphone eq settings from Sonarworks. Thanks to a bit of googling and some previous forum posts, I managed to combine Voicemeeter Banana with FL Minihost modular (to route through sonarworks as a vst) to manipulate the audio signal to get a flat response.
Works a treat!

basically download Voicemeeter banana which is donation ware (so free to tightwads) then register with fl studio and download the free FL minihost modular (beta3), you have to restart then open both up and find out what channel your streaming audio is coming through (for mine it was virtual input 2) and set up Voicemeeter to output to your audio device via ASIO. set up which vst folder to scan in FL Minihost, Sonarworks was installed in Program files/vstplugins
then you can drop it into a virtual audio chain with (in my case) the input and output set to channel 15 stereo.
Go into Voicemeeter to enabled the inserts on L and R of virtual input 2 and Bob is your Auntie's live in lover!
there are a couple of vids on how to do this on YouTube, but if like me, you can't stand the waffle, you can just cut to the important bits.

forgot to add you have to set the output of minihost to Voicemeeter and match the sample rate.
Under file preferences where you set the scan folder(s)
worth the trouble though as it so far works with Spotify, Amazon and Windows media player
possibly with Sonar as well.
