Yeah....that's what I originally posted. You missed it. It's why I posted the video - a correlation for the value of experience...I'm surprised you didn't put the pieces together.(post 3) You were either there to ride them or you weren't. Riding them changes/changed everything...for some. I like how the video about bikes mentioned music of the times because you either experienced those musicians live or you didn't. I'm very glad I got to experience both. It sure changed everything for me. Now all I need is think of how to make that silly or funny then I'll mix in better. No...fck that. I wanted to be a comedian when I was younger- everyone kept laughing at me so I stopped.

The FNAR semi-automatic rifle was first introduced to the shooting public in 2008. It is a product of the US-based subsidiary of famous Belgian company FN Herstal, the FN Manufacturing Co. Despite the name, the FNAR is not an "AR" type rifle. Rather, the FNAR rifle is based on the proven and quite popular Browning BAR hunting rifle (which is unrelated to the original Browning BAR M1918 rifle of World War II fame).

I'm guilty of not reading threads too. I often misread them and I know it's from  lack of really not caring and no intention of posting- even though I'm also guilty of posting when I don't really care about the subject.
I'm also guilty of posting about things I'm interested in without really caring if others are or not. Sometimes I think that is because I just want to practice typing. I find it interesting when I'm typing common words and they just don't look right and I have to goggle the spelling...and then kinda freak when I spelled them right...but they still look wrong.
Well I could join in and keep talking too about **** that has nothing to do with the thread but I think I'd rather think of something else I'm interested in to post about and see what effect it has. I don't think much will change...but I've been wrong before.

Clyde liked the BAR... especially since the local law had to buy their own guns and likely had a .38 ... they wised up though.
I ramble off topic all the time, it's one reason I stay pretty much in the CH. Dancing madly backwards...

Ha....good one J. I like guns.
I was let down this eve. I expected to be making a trip to get this; Walther PPQ 45 ACP but I guess it didn't arrive.
I mentioned in a different thread (hobbies) that I had bought a Beretta PX4 Storm 9mm and it fortunately turned out perfect for my wife. Hopefully we'll be at the range soon enjoying both.
I know it's different tastes for folks but I think this is the perfect 45...for me. Of course evaluations like; there probably isn't a better trigger is opinion-and a popular one - as it is so good some believe it to be a bad thing. That's cool and that's the thing isn't it...to get what fits you. Looking forward to dancing backwards on a sea of air with this.

Even though we have an outdoor range close enough I found out that there is an indoor range around 80 miles away- not to far for us - and great for when the weather would interfere. Living out as we do one wouldn't think it would be an issue just to go into the woods but that's not the way it is. Especially during a hunting season not to mention many others...safety for all being a very good one.

Plenty of youtube videos for those interested. I favor the ones by Hickok45.

Nice!
You do have to be careful outdoors anymore. I had to drive up to Indianapolis a few years ago and there was a story on the radio news. Someone named Yoder had, after an unsuccessful deer hunt, fired his black powder rifle into the air. It seems the bullet fell some distance away killing a young girl in a carriage... named Yoder. Weird.

This one is a bummer in a way...

It was a couple of marks that prevented this from becoming a very nice one piece top. Yep, hard to get a one piece. I'm sure this is from the same board that I used for Ruby. Unfortunately I could not use this one due to the black marks that appeared. Ya never know what's inside.

So now it's going to be a cutting board for my lady. She didn't want it grooved...says it makes it harder to clean so I got off easy. Happy wife...me happy too:)

Wood is good. ;)
