Hi, guys,
Figure this one out! In the 32 bit version of X3, Melodyne is on the list in region FX and loads into the Skylight window. BUT, in the 64 bit version the only way I can get it to even come up is to load it in the synth rack! Is this the way it's supposed to work in 64 bit? It shows up on the Rewire list and can open it there as well.
Sorry to bother you but this is my first encounter with Melodyne.

BTW, in 64 bit, Melodyne does NOT show up in the region FX list. Also the 32 bit version is used as a plugin in the FX rack. I added the Celemony folder to the list of folders to scan and it scanned correctly. I'm just confused about the major difference in using them.

Are you in X3c in 64-bit? It will only show up as a Region FX option in ARA mode (only X3). 64-bit is preferred, and will open there.

Maybe the 64-bit Melodyne needs a separate install.

Do you need separately configure it as "Tempo based FX" in 64 bit version as earlier? Or does that part concern the integrated versions at all?

I checked the versions and it is showing 64 bit version in 64 bit Sonar X3c and 32 bit version in 32 bit Sonar X3c. Where do I check to configure as a tempo based FX?

That configuration drop-down was in the Plugin Manager somewhere (not at my DAW now). But I'm on 8.5 still so my info might be outdated (?). Anyway, Melodyne had to be configured as "Time based plugin" (or FX?) before it worked. Or was it "Tempo based", but time related anyway :o/

Have you checked that C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 and C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\VST3 is being scanned?

I finally remembered how to set the tempo based setting. Still no luck! I am running the upgraded version Melodyne SingleTrack. Could that have something to do with it? It is shown in the 32 and 64 bit Celemony folders as a Melodyne ReWire device dll. I'm wondering if I should uninstall this upgrade and re-install the version in the X3 installation. The 32 bit version works fine in both versions but the 64 bit version is only ReWire capable. It still works. It's just not integrated in to the Skylight like the 32 bit version. Weird stuff!

Make sure that Melodyne 64bit is the VST3 version - in the \Common Files folder as mentioned above.
