Located the common folder in 64 and there is a dll named mw2.dll in it. Scanned it and still no go.

In the folder or in X3?

The file is named melodyne.vst3 and should be in the common files\vst3\celemony directory.  As I posted above if that is not in your scan path you are not getting the vst3 file needed for ARA.

You need the VST version of Melodyne for ARA integration.  Why that version isn't there would be the question... so perhaps a MD reinstall is in order.

Since I already had Melodyne I don't know if it automatically installs with Sonar.
Regardless, reinstall Melodyne or install the upgrade if you don't have v2.1.2 and make sure that the 64 bit components are selected for installation.

Including the VST3 version which is required for ARA.

I uninstalled the updated version 2.1.2 and reinstalled the 2.1.1 version that comes with X3a. It still shows the same behavior. I can use the 32 bit vst and the rewire version in x3 32 bit. I can load it as a region effect as well. The 64 bit version of X3 allows the 32 bit Melodyne in the FX rack on a channel but the 64 bit is only loaded as a rewire plug. No region effect in 64 bit X3c. This is the same exact way the upgraded 2.1.2 acted. Tried tempo based settings. Still no good. Everything is working. I just can't get 64 bit version to even show up on the region FX list.

Verify the installed Melodyne components by:
  1. Running the installer of the current version
You should see a screen that asks if you want to Modify, Repair, or Remove.
  2. Check Modify and click Next
  3. Check the list of what is installed.
Are the 64 bit items checked?
Is the 64 bit VST 3 version checked?
Ignore the AAX version. I have it checked in the image, but Sonar can't use it.

You may have to reset your VSTs under Preferences then do a rescan.  Just a hunch.

I have already been thru the steps you posted twice. No Go. In the Common files folder in the 64 bit Program Files, I found the Celemony folder and inside that folder is an X64 folder that contains a file named "MW2.dll". No MelodyneVST3 anywhere. As I said the 32 bit version is fine. I have the Melodyne vst, the Melodyne ReWire, and it shows up in the Region FX menu. It's just the 64 bit version that I can only get the Melodyne ReWire and the 32 bit vst. No 64 bit other than ReWire.
One more question and I will contact Celemony about this problem. Do I have to uninstall 2.1.1 to install 2.1.2 or will it just update if I run it? Thanks for the help guys. I have had more problems with Melodyne installation than anything ever in Cake so I guess I can't complain.
