I was wondering if this is a known issue....    but I have a song that's ALL Softsynth/MIDI.   I want to do loop recording in a small piece to try different takes, BUT everytime it hits the end of the loop process and goes back to the beginning, the audio gets all jumbled up... I think it has to do with the read-ahead that MIDI does, i feel like it's playing the stuff that comes next (past the ending of the loop) and the stuff in the beginning of the loop when it loops back, hence creating a terrible wall of sound upon each loop cycle.

Having a MIDI FX anywhere in the project will cause SONAR to play the next measure after the end of the loop at the beginning of the next iteration. This is a fairly longstanding issue.  You'll need to at least temporarily remove all MIDI FX from the project to eliminate this problem with looping.
