Hello everybody. Is there a way to raise the visual level of the FFT spectrum analyzer in the Quadcurve EQ? Doesn't seem to matter where the channel fader is set and I'd like to see what some of the lower levels are doing.

Thanks for any help.

The Quad Curve EQ is pre-fader.

For what you want, you need to raise the level going into the EQ.

Perhaps insert a blank FX Chain module, and ramp up the output or input slider.

I guess it's all about gain-staging.  If you have another module (like a compressor) before the EQ, you could raise the output of that.

JB...you pointed me in the right direction. I had the EQ at the top of the ProCh. When I put it on the bottom and did a bit of gain staging everything worked out.

Thanks!

Don't forget the Blue Cat freq analyst tool for FFTs (stereo and mono). It's worth playing with that one and you can put it anywhere in your signal path.
