Additional question about the A-800.   Anyone know how to quickly change keys using the A-800?  I want to change keys one key at a time as I play.  It appears that the key change buttons only change the key one step based on the "pre-programed" keyl change number. 

For instance if you set the key change value to 1, then the transpose button will only change the key by one half step higher  - "Thats It".  
Can this controller change the key by more than one value?  There is no other contoller that I know of with this limitation.

Thinking of purchasing one myself. Thx for the heads up...

I came up with a simple fix. I opened up the 300 and removed the spring that causes the mod wheel to return to the zero position (of course, I did not touch the separate spring that centers the pitch control).
 
Now it stays where I put it.
 
(P.S. I also taped the spring inside the unit so I don't loose it)

jac, sorry for bringing up this old thread (and hope you're still subscribed!), but I ran across your post researching this still-fresh issue.  I am curious - was this difficult to do?  (I have reasonably good hardware mod skills, if that helps.)  Mainly wondering if the stick mechanism was hard to get to, and/or if the proper spring was hard to find/remove.  Thanks in advance!
