Does anybody know the easiest way to get version numbers of installed plugins (VST and Pro Channel) other than repetitive click action on the plugin or a right click fest or a DLL hunt?
 
Also CA-2A latest version 2.0.0?
 
FEATURE REQUEST please for X4 - It would be nice to have a central auto update facility within Sonar much like Windows Update. I did officially log that one a few years ago. Cake are really missing a trick here as they could integrate their own plugin store (the marketeers probably would not have though of this, and would rather prefer endlessly post adverts and offers... it keeps them warm and familiar).

Thanks Lawp but surely there's a utility without getting scripting gloves on.
I would expect this to be built into the cakewalk plugin manager but it appears not to be so.

Does the status bar at the bottom of the Browser give you that info?   I can't recall exactly what it displays...
 

By version # do you mean VSt2.4 or VST3 or the version of the product itself e.g. Flang-o-matic v1.3.69.2 ?
 
Either way you're looking for a 3rd party or non-cake solution.

So really the plugin management we have is extremely basic.

Mine is v2.0.0.0 and it should be the latest

Hey cake I hope you have the feature request list handy. Here's another point, it could make your tech support easier, esp if there a report that can be exported.
