Much prefer this to the Madonna version. For one, the singing is better. The backing track and mix are really good as well. Not my favorite song but listened to the entirely nonetheless;)

One word... TopNotch.

Apart from SoundCloud though... I'm pretty certain it's not your ears, and is my only complaint about SoundCloud, that they insist on at what 128kbps. MP3.com streamed at that rate in 2000, when most of us were on dial-up... So, I agree with Tom, in that any artefacts on the sssss's and what have you is an encoding problem.

Any chance of making this track downloadable, just to test the theory?

I'm not sure it is Soundcloud. I've had some pretty good results with other songs. I was probably too lazy to de-ess.

Excellent singing and production, pleasure to listen to. No one else has commented on it so I will; really nice choices for the arrangement. This arrangement has variety and held my interest throughout the song.

I was never a Madonna fan but this tune sounds really nice. Although the second verse vox sounds doubled, the first verse vox is stronger in my ears. Mrs. Daryl has great pipes and is a whole lot easier on the eyes than the material girl. Overall super job on this so lets hear some more .............................Ron
