Back in August 2012, cakewalk gave us a free Rapture expansion pack 1&2, - a download of about 255 MB (file name: "RaptureXPSetup.exe")
When I tried to install this after installing Sonar X3, I get an error message "You must first install Rapture" or some such thing.
What's up? Were these packs built into the latest version of Rapture? How can I get these to load? Anyone else having trouble with this?

Unless you see the Expansion Pack directories in the program browser they are not installed. You could try the original expansion pack downloads from the support page. I do not recall if they updated the installers for them or not.

Okay - that's what I thought.
 
What about DimPro expansion packs 1-3?

The DimPro Expansion Packs have always been included with Producer. They are a separate download and installer though. When installed, they too show up as Expansion Pack program directories.

I just checked my archives and the separate Rapture Expansion packs have a newer date than the RaptureXPSetup.exe so I believe they are based on the new Rapture Expansion Pack installer. Give them a try  http://www.cakewalk.com/S...b/reader.aspx/20067171
