  • Are There Region Fx shortcuts? [Partially Solved]

Very cool that we now have both V-Vocal and Melodyne...

I've had good results most of the time with V-Vocal (Lucky?) and so far excellent results with Melodyne (I've gotta get the upgrade somehow - Formant Control is too important!)...

But I miss the easy access to enable V-Vocal and it's now the same for both VV and MeloD... Menu's and drop downs <sigh>... Are there already shortcuts? I haven't found any yet.... If not, I wonder if I can bind the commands?

I'll dig some more but I was hoping someone might be able to answer some of this first...

Aha! I just found the Ctl-M command creates and opens a Melodyne clip...
Too bad we seem to have lost eh same ability for V-Vocal... I guess trying to ween us of it?

Thanks...

Hmmm...

According to the shortcuts list, Shift-V is still supposed to open V-Vocal (create a v-vocal region fx clip), but it doesn't seem to be working...

Bug???

Shift-V reports as unassigned in my shortcuts (preferences)...

I'm gonna look to see if I can bind the command myself...

Another Hmmmmm...

I found an "Open V-Vocal Editor" command and bound it to Shift-V which is currently (deafult) unassigned instead of opening a V-Vocal Region as the shortcuts explain it should be...

But even though I did bind it, It does not create a region fx clip of the clip highlighted... Nor does it simply open one that is already created as the command dialogue leads my thinking...

But it does nothing no matter what I do... So far... I will try some more...
