I've recently purchased the producer edition of X3 and notice that the downloadable files come in 4-5 parts. Only part 2 actually installs the application. So part 3, 4, and 5 i assume are updates to that application. When initiating the executable files it tells me to "please download and run previous packages." Are there additional installation files needed outside of what Cakewalk gave me to install?

Are you running the installs in order? If not you will need to do that.

Make sure you save all the downloadable files onto your PC, then run the 1st initialization file and this will install all the others. If you are missing one,. then it will not install
