I just had to re-do some fiddle tracks that were laid down years ago. I jumped on the Editor upgrade. These fiddle parts were phenomenal, but here and there was a pitch or timing issue which Melodyne fixed flawlessly. I find myself laughing with glee at the power of this thing.

I agree 100%

I also jumped on the Editor upgrade, and am in awe of how powerful Melodyne is, and how well it now integrates with Sonar - it's like any other part of the program.  It is seamless.

Anyone I show it too is impressed/staggered.

I have editor on my old machine that I will be replacing this week as soon as I set up the new desk. At that point I will download and install x3 C. I'm assuming I have to un register the Melodyne from my old computer and download it again on my new one. In case I wanted to keep it on both systems does anyone know how much the upgrade is from what cakewalk includes? If it's cheap enough I may just buy a second license.

Hey Steve,

Your avatar is making me thirsty!  I just got a new computer, and I didn't have to un-register the old one.  I just installed Melodyne editor, and it was registered to my new computer.  I was amazed!

Per the Melodyne licensing, you are authorized to have it installed on up to 2 computers at the same time, and with that they have an additional process to deactivate a computer's license if you want to put it on yet a different one.

I use the audio-to-MIDI feature all the time. Great for bass.

I love the audio to MIDI feature, myself.  The other day I drug a clip containing a guitar solo to a lead synth track, and it automatically created MIDI notes for the synth that echoed my guitar solo.  Amazing stuff!
