I am running Sonar X1 Expanded 64 bit. I also have 8.5 32 bit on the same machine. When I open the track inspector in track view several issues come up. 1. the inspector area displays a copy of the left 1/4 of the track list and is non responsive. 2. The inspector does not switch tracks when selecting MIDI tracks that are not associated with a software instrument. If the MIDI track is associated with Dim Pro, Session Drummer etc. everything is fine. 3. The top portion of the Inspector is covered by the properties view and I can not see the top of my inspector controls. I can't see the the gain knob, the FX bin, or the chr or rev knobs. These issues are not simultaneous, but occur at different times. Thanks AMD Phenom IIx4 965 3.4 Ghz 8 Gb Ram

Tim, you're not the first person to be confused by this user interface behavior.  When you have a tab selected in the inspector, click on it to unselect it and no tabs will cover the underlying controls.  Obvious ... but only when you see how it really works.

With regard to issues 1 &2, I've seen this in X1 and the only way I could overcome it was by rebuilding the project from the keel upwards.

I too have a problem with the Track Inspector problem whereby I can access those effect and modules when
things get hidden like  the gain knob, the FX bin, or the chr or rev knobs.Does anyone know how to recall or default setting for that matter?Initially it was working the way I used to do but now I am not sure how to recall it.Let me know anyone who have done this to recall of default setting for Track Inspector.

Thanks

Not sure I fully understand, but if you mean how do you get from this:

To this:

You simply click the blue highlighted "Track" tab and it will toggle off.

Same routing for the Clip & ProCh tabs
