There just has to be more to the 1920x1080 issue than meets the eye... it's just too specific in that it's hosing you guys up, but others like me have no problem at all.
Is it just win 8.0, 8.2, or does it affect some Win 7 folks as well?
In the past, too high a resolution could negatively affect some real-time processes as the GPU ate up too much memory I/O bandwidth, but hell, this is 2013! I'm running a 2 1/2 yo 2.4Ghz Gateway AMD quad with MB AMD graphics and and I can
load it up (with plugins) till my eyes glaze over (metaphorically speaking..). You have to wonder if there is something wonky with the video drivers - because it's the same Sonar we all run. It's possible, but unlikely that CW stumbled into some unexpected O/S system level changes - those things are usually trumpeted loudly and in advance on MSDN...
