New to The Coffee House?
 
Here's a rundown on the "inside" humor (or humour if you're so inclined).
 
1. FSF refers to the longest fred (otherwise known as a thred) here in The Coffee House sub forum (and actually on this whole forum site)
2. It's BECAN not bacon. As in "raw fried becan" as a member here long ago called it.
3. Beagle is the holder of the BECAN (or so we let him think)
4. Daryk is daryl1968 (as SteveStrummerUK, aka Straummy or Strummy once had him known as in an email)
5. It's BECAN not bacon.
6. Arse is about the only acceptable 'curse' word we're allowed to use here, use it often
7. Jan (aka Old55) passed away in 2015. He perfected the use of post "Black Dog" to mean "I'm bored and I have nothing else to say"
8. It's BECAN not BACON!!!!!
9. I truly DO NOT CARE about my post count.
10. It's BECAN not BACON!!!!!
11. Bayoubill will most likely offer a weakly apology for almost anything (eve if he didn't really do it) and so I give him honourable mention here.  
12. Mooch4056 is kind of a big deal around here.
 
More will (most likely) be revealed by other members here.

13. Bapu might have an Alembic.

14.  Yes, we miss Jan.
 
15.  TOTP = "Top of the Page" and provides PayPal deposits into my account when I get them (at best, all you'll get is a "Best Answer" award).

17. Of the three five-letter-word anagrams of the word SPINE, the usage of only two variants will not get you banned.

21. The only note that matters is the Am note. The Am note can be played in any key. Or not, as befits the song.

 
 
22. Some 'singers' round these parts specialise in certain genres and styles of music. I am one of those. The styles and genres at which we excel are called Instrumentals.

 
23. Demanding of Bapsi that your post deserves the Best Answer accreditation always works for Strraummy...
 
The reason for this is because I'm sleeping with the thread starter not greedy and/or selfish about these things.
 
24. To the same extent that Bapsi careth not about post count, Straummy could not give a flying feck about Helpful thingies. He only goes for the big fish.
 
25. When something pisses Straummy off, everybody has to hear about it.

26. Helpful in The Coffee House usually means "funny" or "true dat"
