Back pain... ugh. I finally ordered a Leesa and an 8" wooden box spring replacement (with a cover). I sure hope it works. Maybe I need a new pillow too. I swear, my pillow hurts the side of my head. I was awakened 4 times last night by pain. Tok ibuprofen twice and APAP once. Norco this AM..
Last time I woke up it was 4:55, cat wanted me to get up so I did. I always hurt but if I don't get enough rest I hurt more and complain more. Oh well..
My oldest daughter wants me to keep my two grand daughters tonight and take them to school tomorrow AM at 7:00, I will but it will be hard. Her "husband" is having some out patient surgery this afternoon so I guess there is a reason...
So one daughter wants me to watch the kids, the other called this morning to borrow $1,000.00 (she will pay it back, she makes more than I do but she just moved). Still... do you ever want to just be left alone?

Anyone here sleeping on a Leesa or something like it? What about a pillow. I tried the one from COOP homegoods, it's like HUGE.. taking fill out has been either not enough or too much. Thinking about trying a My Pillow but all the cheesy advertising makes me wary. Thoughts?

Been to the docs Julien? Constant back pain can be a symptom of other things.

For years... been poked, stuck, scanned, prodded... no happy ending. Been on serious painkillers, now on stuff I can control. I have OA. It's expanding. Started in my upper back now, middle and lower back, neck, ankles etc. I was trying daily Cialis for BPH (well, that's what I told the doctor).. I was taking 2.5mg every day or two. I had to back off. I can take 2.5mg about three times a week. It causes horrible lower back pain and deep vein thrombosis (my leg was hurting too) It seems better now after a break but I have 90 coming this way from Canada! It will be a lifetime supply I guess. I tried taking the 20mg once and ZOW!!! those things will give you a Charlie house when you wake up and stretch your legs in the morning... make you get out of the bed FAST!
They do keep me from peeing on my shoes though.

Mostly it's my upper back, well lower cervical, upper thoracic and my knees that wake me up. I can walk to the bathroom and my knees get OK. I think they just start to hurt from being in one position too long. Back.. I've learned to manage it. It's going to be better some days, worse other days.. I don't expect to have no pain. A friend's wife expects to have no pain. She has had multiple surgeries, put him into bankruptcy, and still hurts. I'll deal with it best I can and hope the mattress helps! It also helps to complain here on the forum. I hope that's OK

It's always okay. I don't have any recommendations for you. I don't know anything about that mattress. I got a Tuft and Needle mattress a few months ago and I like it. I hope the new one eases your pain and helps you get some rest.

TY Bubba. They are very similar I think. My daughter got the T&N too and likes it. She said it takes a few days to get used to but she wouldn't go back to a inner spring. I hope the offgassing isn't too bad. Otherwise, I already like it. Positive attitude. I bought it I'm GOING to like it!

Sorry to hear about the aches & pains Julien.....hope the new mattress will help in relieving some of that. We're also shopping around for a new mattress and that Leesa looks very good (should help my back pain as well). At least you have a 100 days to decide if it's helpful or not...
