Ok guyz here the simple thing :
 
After the X3C update , some plugins were missing from my plugin layout ....  no big deal ...but then i figured out that the registry entry was different  (this cause the missing in plugin layout) , no big deal i recreated a new layout with the new Id 's ...
 
Problem then when open old projects , messsing around with the usual " replace this by this and that by that" "ect ....dammm
 
And now projects with Slate digital FG grey don't open and crash 
 
 
i cheked the Registry and guess what : weirdo entry 
 
FG red /FG Mu and FG rack open cooling ::
 
i installed the last version of the software : no go
Last version of ilok : no go
not a licences issue since one licence is shared for all and others open right ...
 
i just unistalled X3  !! thinking that the new plugin manager was messing arround .....
 
NO Fu...ng go !!!
 
At the end  , X1 D , no more X3 and still this **** issue ...
 
Don't tell me it's Slate since it was working like a charm since day one and it is still working on my laptop (X1 only based !!!)  
 
ANY IDEA ...i'm just in mental hell today ...thks to  ????

Did you rescan your plugins after installing X3c? as some have had issues with plugins not working/showing properly. This was the solution for some.

yep a deep full rescan , i think this was the problem ...it broke some or something like that ..

Maybe, and this is a shot in the dark, the Slate stuff threw a flag up that stops it from running because you edited the registry? In just X3?

About to make a restauration pre X3 , but if some have an idea ?!! i will take it .....this is some messed up ...
 

not edit of the registry ;) for those and again i unsinatlled them and then resinstalled them from scratched , sonar re registred them
 
Uninstall / open sonar /clause sonar/ reinstall/re open sonar (this way i'm sure it takes off registry entry and then creates new ones) ...
 
 
What kills me is to roll back pre X3 ....and teach students X1 while they have X3 availlable ...

Just to cover some basics, are you using the same OS on your desktop (X3c) as you are on your laptop (X1)?  Is it Win7 or Win8?  If Win8, have you set SS plugs with "run as admin." rights?

same thing : Win 32 7 pro ...
 
 

zo you have an issue opening the plugin in a project or they don't show up in the plugin list?

after spending some time with the support (exellent by the way as usual) , i rolled back to  pre X3 back up ...
 
Everything cooling now ....
 
Transcending Music :  i first try to open a project , it crashed ...then i saw the minbump : FG grey related , i tried to insert it on a blank on : not showing , did a full scan , no way ! ...unistall desintsall rescan : no way ..
 
last version , new ilok  ect ....no way ...
 
rolled back to X1 era before X3 : everything fine ...so sad because i loved X3 ...the thing is that now i'm scared to retry X3 on the next update for real ....
