Hi guys,

I have noticed that with X3, and increasingly so with X3c, fast bounces are garbled, even when only doing two or three track mixes. Plugins used are ONLY Prochannel plus Concrete Limiter and LP64 Multiband, all running 64 bit, so dodgy 3d party stuff is not the factor here.

I am thus forced to do a realtime bounce to avoid getting this issue.

Any idears?

Is your BounceBufSizeMsec set to zero in Preferences>Audio>Config File?

I found doing that sorted out a lot of issues with fast bounce, particularly if there were any time based effects or heavily modulated/evolving synths.

Just tried it - same problem persists..

They work fine here, and the only obvious difference so far is that I don't think I've done a fast bounce with the LP64 Multiband.  I'll do one now.

Back in a mo..

I would be interested in this as well as I am getting a "pop" at the start of my exported WAVs

Here is my thread: http://forum.cakewalk.com/X3-Click-at-the-start-of-exported-Files-WAVs-MP3s-m2916858.aspx

I wonder if the issues are related?

I will be checking that "Bounce Buf Size" when I get home later

I would try it without the LP64, see what happens then.

Worked okay, LJB.

When you say "garbled", what are you hearing?

by any chance: do you have a tempo change in the song and maybe also melodyne?

just encountered something strange today when bouncing (but that was X2a): vocal tracks got totally misaligned when exporting WAV - it turned out that melodyne (as VST2) got confused due to a tempo change ahead of the melodyne FX clip (same happened when freezing track)

exporting would only work if I deleted the tempo change
