Hi All...

Well... I installed it, activated it, downloaded and installed the update...

Now at least I have the devices.... but no presets...

I tried to "import", but none of the avilabel presets will even load (Are these GR3?)

Any thoughts? I could use some ideas... I'm resisting uninstalling re/installing as I hate the re-activation issue... If I remember correctly, NI allows a limited number of these... But that is the only other thing I can think to try...

Do you have the full version or the LE version? I am having the same things you describe with the LE version and I decided it must be that the presets are calling for components that are not included so it just doesn't load them. I don't know if this is correct or not. I only have 1 guitar amp that shows up(Jump)and like one or two of everything else(reverbs ,compressors ,etc.). I would sure like to find out what is included in the LE as far as components.Also you can import the GR3 presets into GR 4..

It is only the LE version that's included with Sonar... and this is not necessarily "typical". I'm installing it on a friend's system... I already have it installed in mine and it has all the presets...

The differences? Mine was installed from disk and this new install is from the downloaded version... Other than that? Different hardware and OS...

You should see 3 amps... Jump Twang Reverb, and Bass Pro each with a matching cabinet
Delay - Delay Man and Twin Delay
Distortion - Demon and Skreamer
Dynamics - Limiter, Noise Gate. Noise Reduction, Stomp Compressor, Tube Compressor, and Volume Pedal
Equalizer -  EQ Graphic, EQ Parametric, and EQ Shelving
Filters - AutoFilter, Pro-Filter, and Real Wah
Modifier - Analog Sequencer, Envelope, Input Level, LFO, and Step Sequencer
Modulation - Flanger and Phaser Nine
Reverb - Studio Reverb
Tools - CrossOver, Master FX, and Split

Thanks Keni,that is just what I have! I wish I could help you out with your problem but unfortunately I just started playing with GR. I do remember reading something a while back about Gr4 not recognizing the .kds or whatever that extension is for presets. The best I remember you had to load them as a bank or something. I think I read about it on Guitar rig forum , but I just kinda gave up on it and haven't fooled with Guitar Rig until now.I Hope this will  help ya!

Can't you install from your disks and not the download?

We had a problem loading it onto my second machine, once I downloaded and installed the latest patch it recognized all the presets, very strange cause it loaded fine on the primary box.

I finally re-installed it and after applying the update, it's finally showing the presets as well as the components... Wonderful...

I must have done something wrong in the first install.

On GR3 LE I had access to all the presets but lost the full versions when I authorized it.  Bummer.  That makes more sense, tho, than not having them all.  But glad you got it sorted out for your friend.
