I am finding it impossible to get Melodyne Editor's timeline to agree with X3's. In my project, there is one tempo change on the tempo map.
When creating a melodyne region, "Follow Host Tempo" is not selected by default. The tempo is analyzed by Melodyne and while close, is not exact. The time rulers do not match because at this point Melodyne, as I understand it, does not have the tempo map info from Sonar. I then try to enable "Follow Host Tempo". The time ruler within Melodyne does not react by changing to match that of Sonar. Instead the audio within the Melodyne Region is stretched such that it no longer matches the project, and in addition the time ruler appears to stay the same - it does not follow the host tempo. Is anyone else having trouble getting Melodyne to just behave with Sonar's timeline and follow its tempo and grid?
