The problem still happens. And no, the onboard video is not based on an AMD chip; it is an Intel design, integrated into the CPU.
Unfortunately, that means that the solution is not simply updating a driver or even replacing a video card.
There is obviously something different about our systems that makes this bug happen. After all, some people have it, and others don't. However, it's still a bug (it's not like this type of thing happens on my system elsewhere). And for those of us that have it, it happens every time the scrub tool is used, so it's a pretty noticeable bug (see image).
Given that I don't have additional computers / computer parts, I can't isolate the bug for Cakewalk. What I can contribute is this: since it occurs despite switching out both the video driver and the video card, it is unlikely that this problem is caused by a bug in the graphics card or the video driver.
How does one go about submitting a bug report to Cakewalk?
