Well after the bakers have finished with patching the x3c( I have no major problems and are very happy with x3c) or release the x3d. May I ask will cakewalk work on a next generation dim pro or rapture? What you did to zeta+2 was as e all know, a mega success. And I am hoping too see cakewalk continue their success stories with the softsynths department, too.

Sorry but I'd rather want them to continue improving X3. It can go as far as X3f at least, considering there are still bugs and half-baked features.

It looks to me like Cakewalk is no longer in the soft synth business, and hasn't been for a while.

René's departure years ago surely had something to do with it.

I don't see a problem with this.  There are some great synth makers out there.

I'd prefer the Bakers stick with making Sonar X series improvements. The Sonar platform is already great and I am looking forward to what enhancements come forward on it in the future.

Dimension Pro and Rapture and z3TA2 are all very fine and have a great collection of libraries and sounds. I use them with great satisfaction on just about all of my songs. But I also heavily use third party soft synths and those have such an incredible galaxy of stuff I don't feel I need to wait around for a Dimension Pro upgrade.
