I think brundlefly "fixed" my issue for me.  I had no idea the inspector window was scrollable because no scrollbars are displaying in that window for me.  However I just checked and my mouse wheel does seem to control the scrolling in that window.  I bet that explains the random nature of this problem for me--I probably move the mouse wheel when I have the inspector in focus without realizing it and then end up with everything scrolled off the screen.  I don't think that ever happened to me in X1.

I will have to check over some continued work to be sure, but I'm almost sure this will resolve the issue for me.  Not sure why there are no scrollbars visible, but as long as I have a way to reset things back to normal after they get scrolled, it is not really an issue.

Thanks.

I think the scrollable inspector wasn't a feature until X1 Expanded??

I'm pretty sure this is a bug.  When playback of a midi track is stopped when the sustain pedal is depressed, even with the 'reset on stop' preference checked, the sound rings out.  IE the sustain pedal stays depressed.  IE the sound does not completely reset.  This was true in prev. versions of Sonar and seems to continues in X3d.  Stopping and starting again does reset the sound.  But it doesn't work the first time.  I think this may be an intermittent problem, but it seems to happen to me most of the time.

#2.  Today I couldn't get cut and paste to work properly:

I was trying to cut and paste the looped clip entitled "4bar 105bpm" to a different place on track 15.  No matter what I did it kept pasting to track 10 where that little white bar is.  Saving and reloading fixed the problem, so it's no big deal but I'm wondering if anyone knows what was going on?

Quick question on #2. Clicking on the track name does not select a track. Clicking on the track number (and seeing the blue box) shows a track is selected. Were you seeing the cut/paste issue with track 15 properly selected?

I didn't look to see if I had a blue box on track 15.  Like I said I reloaded and the problem went away.  I can't replicate the problem anymore.  The other thing that happened, was that when I clicked both 'paste' and 'paste special' I didn't get the normal dialog box.  It just pasted to that little white line on track 10.  So I have a feeling something was buggy.  Thanks!

Again please start another thread (it would be helpful), I'm keen to avoid bug troubleshooting on my thread (which is about document confirmed bugs, and in order to do that I need a another thread to point to). If there's a bug to document I'll be sure to do so. Thanks.

Ian, you accidently hit 0 on your number pad on your keyboard. Hit 0 on the number pad again and that little line will go away. 0 toggles it on and off. I couldn't find it it in the shortcut list btw.
