Hello, I bought the Sonar V-studio 100, I have a Lenovo Y40-70 (Intel i7, 16 GB Ram, USB 2 ports, USB 3 ports, AMD Graphics), a Yamaha PSR-510, and a small guitar amplifier. The Keyboard has the midi properly plugged into the V-Studio 100, and the AMP is plugged into the 1/4 inch out jack on the V-studio 100. I properly installed the CD drivers that came with the NIB kit using a brand new external CD drive, and installed the "vs100_sys_v150" firmware update properly to the V-Studio 100. Now I just need to install the "vs100_wind_v201" but every single installation .exe I try running (Vista 32, 64, win 7 32, 64, standard vista, standard 7, or just xp version) I am told that the program is not compatible with my OS. I properly extracted the .zip folder inside my downloads folder. I was previously running windows 8.1, but I upgraded to windows 10 recently, and updated my drivers for my AMD graphics card to prevent "Internal_Power_error"s from crashing my computer. My (C:) has 596 of 869 gb free, my (D:) has 21.7 of 24.9 and finally my split drive from my C drive which is drive (M:) has 19.4 of 19.5 free. Cakewalk no longer provides any support to this product whatsoever which is a rip off considering I spent $300 on this equipment with no refund available because of the copy protection. My reason for updating these drivers is because the sonar vstudio music program does this little number,(Picture below) and refuses to play music, or anything... I doubt I would as much get a store credit from cakewalk, or anything, but if any of you know how to fix my problem, please help me. I won't run virtual PCs because all the readme files say that won't work. If you fixed it that way, or have a friend that did it that way, and have no other advice, it would still be appreciated to know how they did it, and all.
