I didn't read too well, I guess, so I wasn't expecting a Christmas song.  I haven't ever heard this song in minors.  Kinda interesting.  Interesting bass line throughout.   Welcome home.  This is a friendly place to be and I look forward to hearing more your work.

cool take on this tune...
very neat parts and breakdowns....
gotta agree about the drums, even tho the basic 'shuffle' (i hear samba) groove is good,
but the drums have a canned feel.....
 
subtle changes in EVERY clip you pull in or create, helps a lot...
and as always, take out, before you put in.
 
the mix, is kinda light in the low end. needs more bass, more kick, just more.
 
if you would post a WAV file, i could try to analyze it for you.....
 
but basically, your gain levels sound good, panning is clear, 
nothing sounds out of phase, going in the right direction.
