I have it installed on my W10 machine, and it seems to work, but I don't have an audio interface so I haven't tested it fully.

The new version is completely different from the old one and was designed to work on modern operating systems from the outset.

That's intriguing. I have 8.5 Studio as my last version of Sonar, this would give me an up to date version going forward. I wonder about authorization. Can it still be authorized?

The authorization for SHS currently needs internet connection.

Not sure it's worth 150.00 just to get Sonar Home Studio. Think I'll wait to see if Microsoft decides to pick it up. I'm happy with Sonar 8.5 Studio for now.

It's not $150.00. The link I gave earlier mentions Sonar Home Studio being offered free if you buy the Dec edition of Computer Music Magazine (about $5.40 USD for the digital version).

I just tried to redeem the Computer Music Magazine Sonar Home Studio edition, and got a
message saying the offers expired.
I have SHS6XL at the moment, Windows 7.
