Ok guyz just wanted to know if some of you experienced that : no more synthn in the synth rack , synths are reachable via the browser/synth or via menu/insert ...but nothing from the synth rack , scan done , X3C  (insert synth on synth rack is greyed )

EDIT : it was working before update ,( before "the check your system" police come spam me again ...)

It's working here, but the first time I clicked on the Synth tab in the browser, then clicked on the "+" Insert Synth button and went to the Insert Synth submenu, it was missing a few folders from my custom layout, and the folders from that layout that were there were missing some synth items. I had to go to the Plugin-layouts submenu under the "+" menu and run the Scan VST Folders item from there, and then everything showed up. So it looks like the Scan VST Folders item under the Synths tab is independent from the Scan VST Folders in other places in Sonar, at least for me. The reason I say that is because all my custom folders and items were showing correctly under the Plugins tab, just not under the Synths tab until I ran the scan from there.
 
Not sure if you'll actually be able to follow what I just explained (looks pretty confusing when I read it back).

np what you said makes sens ....first time i selected show all plugins ...nothing , then rezcan , nothing , then erased the plugin folder refernce (in places to scan ) , then re selected it ...deep scan ....long time ..verything found again , still not showing in this place , ...everywhere else is ok !

I made some custom layouts to see what would happen. It works here. Instruments only show in the Synth Rack, FX in the audio effects tab. Things seem to work here.
