Confirmed the VSTi "Solo GUI" issue here.
 
If you close the GUI while solo'd, re-open the GUI, Solo status in the GUI is no longer lit.
 
Switching the Solo in the VSTi GUI lights it again, and brings the GUI status back in sync (without any change to the actual real solo status).

can anybody confirm that in preference , color , console view , we have no more option to choose the text background ? i checked X1 and we have the double of color option in Console view !!!

get 2 tracks , so the first one , then the next one , the hit the solo exlusiv button : both gets un-soloeed !!
 
it used to solo exluse the last one in X1

It also works like this in X2 - X2 and X3 behave the same.
 
I didn't see this as a problem though, and haven't seen other complaints about it.
I just select Exclusive Solo, then start soloing tracks as I want to hear them.
 
It may be the intended way since X2, and it doesn't bother my workflow.

thks Cliff ..well the thing is that you sometime figure out that you didn't engaged it then ypou clik on and Bam all playing ....lol 
 
also here's a video i amde and see my console cosutmistaion : no way now ...we have to stik with Fashy numebre and letter  and same background for names ...to distracting , why do they give one side and take the other ....!!

Well, Zo, these appear to be rare and minor GUI glitches to me.  Do they really cause you that much trouble or is this just a huge annoyance to the OCD kind of user?

Can't repro the synth solo problem at all. As far as exclusive solo goes, the documentation says it all...
"When you solo a track or bus in Exclusive Solo mode, all other soloed tracks or buses are automatically unsoloed. This allows you to quickly listen to individual tracks and buses in isolation without having to manually unsolo other tracks or buses."

well i was ponting out that this wasn't just minor bugs around (as someone said ) ..
 
@swaamptooh : yep i know how solo exclusive work , what i'm saying is that when you solo several track , then hit the solo exclusiv AFTER , instead of solo Excluisvily the las one selected , it UN-Solo all !!
 
@John : well i must say that i know this is 100 % Unrelated to my system since X1 is damn rock solid on , and so 8.5 , i tried X2 few weeks ago , a free copy i had for the SAE , i was testing to see if i validated it for student and in the studio : NO WAY !! 
I had a lot of hope for X3 (that i bought to try !! since not yet demo and physical sells) , but no way for now , i give them a chance until the next update ....don't get me wrong , X3 is working and you can work without MAJOR breaks , but i refuse to use some that looks better but works less good ...the engine is definitly not on pair with the X1 D smoothness ...and very easy to spot on , it took me 10 min on X2 , same on X3 ...
 
 
Specs : Cakewalk workstation ( kinda same as pics , more recent Sonata based case ): Win7 pro 32 / X1.D /X3.B/ VS700 system /RME UCX/ I7 920  graphic ATI passive HD 4350 , dpc latency 90us on max ....stress done 514 audio tracks with the VS 700 under X1 
 

 
You know i do my very best to expose what i consider the best and most complete daw around ( also check the feedbacks i have on my Youtube videos under sonar (http://www.youtube.com/user/ZozillaThaGreat)) .....but i really doubt that i can do X3 based ones ....that was my goal !
 
my second system (where i do videos ) HP 8560W i7 2670QM , Quadro 1000m , 4GB win pro 32 ...(i didn't installed it there ...)
 
So at the end , i have a computer master Degre and also teach it at the SAE , computer course DAW oriented ...what i'm saying is that be sure that whe i post some , i try to isolate it from any integration issues ;)  you can check stress test videos on X1 ;) as well to validetated back then HP workstations for students and friends ....i'm using it since the HP 8710w ....and plan on ttesting soon the HP Z1  ...anyway thks guyz for coming in ...and i feel sorry to kinda poluate the forum , but as a Pro , i still wonder how some stuff passed the BEta , and i beta a lot of stuff around ...
