MIDIMINDS
As a LOOOONG time Logic user and having worked with EVERY major DAW to produce commercial recordings in nearly ever genre of music, I must admit that Cakewalk has succeeded in making me a convert.  Yeap...even in regard to the functions that I need in MIDI and scoring.  I know that other DAWs have their strengths.  But as far as a "one stop shop" to get 90+% of my work done, SONAR X3(c) now fulfills that need.

I would seriously advise a major (online) marketing campaign to make folks aware of the growth and features that are now part of the SONAR application.

My hat is off to the bakers.  Genuinely a JOB WELL DONE!

Much continued success, guys ~

I have started using Logic and so far I hate it.  In fact, I find myself exporting all the recorded tracks at the studio and mixing them down in Sonar.  I'm sure some of it is familiarity and experience, but I'm a person used to jumping from software to software.

Ditto if there's any money in the coffers but please wait till X3F.

What are the chances of two people having the same avatar like that? I'm putting my lottery numbers on this week.

I like hearing things like this (again). It seems like the X series, which I thought was good to being with, has finally come of age.

Default avatars? I didn't even know there were any....

There were a few.  Most were variations of logos Cakewalk have used over the years.   I think this one was around the 8/8.5 era.  I don't see them anymore when I click on stock avatars, so I thunk the new forum software ditched them.

Thanks for positive feedback. The best marketing campaign most of the time is word of mouth right? :)
