The X3c release from an X2 user perspective

Good stuff.  Keep going Cakewalk [Development]!

There is enough fluff in Sonar now to last a few years.  I sincerely hope the focus now turns to making everything solid for a larger percentage of the user base.  Work toward perfecting X3, not X4.  Future X4 users will thank you...

P.S.  Please get an X3 demo/trial out there so we can see if our X2 woes can be a thing of the past.

If you look at the complete list of fixes, updates, improvements, etc, you will find that most of the change from X2 to X3 IS focused on making the program solid.  The fluff gets all the attention and press, but all in all , you are looking at perhaps 4 to 5 things some could regard as fluff compared to hundreds of under the hood changes.  As for the demo, it will likely come after the X3d patch

A patch for 3D? Will it come with glasses? Now that would be something I could almost get my hands on!

@Studious - what things are haunting you in X2?  Perhaps we can help revolve or mitigate.

I appreciate the sentiment Bob, but I don't want to degrade another post by harping on X2 bugs.

I want to move on, and planned to give X3 a fair shot before switching DAW software entirely.  I've never done a Cakewalk demo/trial in 12 years using their products, but I won't gamble $150 on Sonar after X2a.
