There will probably be more updates in time so it is good to try to stay up these releases.  I am very impressed at the number of fixes for this release.

Caution is not required when you have rollback :)

Diddo. I reported the CE buzz issue immediately after the "c" install. It's too troublesome to deal with (I use the CE on all tracks and busses) so I reverted back to "b" until Cake gets it sorted out. They are on it.

Installed X3c. I think the PRV snap is broken. Try changing the independent snap setting in PRV (toggle the triplet ones too) and move notes by mouse and you'll see. I thought I should investigate more but I need to go to bed now. I guess someone will post the issue by the morning. The N key behavior in the PRV is worse, too (the grid lines in the PRV get overwritten by the snap setting in the Control Bar's snap module).

So, basically, it seems to be a "try it and see on your system" sort of deal. May be awesome / may suck.
Just in case it breaks something..... how do I roll back to X3b? Just reinstall the X3b update over top of the X3c update??

I find X3c to be improved over all... I'm not sure about the CE issue, but I can say that snap is working fine... It's understanding the way it works that's a little different... See this thread:

PRV Snap Will Not Toggle On/Off is Global Snap If Disabled [Solved] (Sort Of?)

I can't seem to copy the link from this iPad...

...but the gist is that N controls toggling Global Snap which includes a subset control (if enabled) for the PRV... A touch of confusion about the lighted status of each, but understand that snap will only respond if N is enabled, and if you have the PRV snap enabled it will respond to those selections instead of the Global.... Works just fine and I believe at last has things properly connected... Grid follows snap finally follows the PRV Snap setting!

I'm not seeing a problem with the actual snap behavior; it follows the PRV snap setting as expected if enabled, but the grid line resolution is defaulting to the Global setting after you toggle it on and off with N. You have to toggle the PRV resolution to reset the grid lines.

I have a problem with the Tape Sim giving the 60hrz hum, after a while. And I see it was addressed in the C patch.

However, I am reluctant to install because I use Console Emulation (CE?) on almost every track! Is there something specific to this problem that it only effects a few? Or are many others reporting it too?

So I'm waiting to see how this plays out before I install c.
