Can't speak for Cakewalk/Gibson but if I were a betting man I would say no. If there was a future, it would be post X series since it would likely require massive coding from the ground up. You never know though.

Will Cakewalk develop a Mac version of SONAR?
Many musicians already run SONAR on the Mac using Boot Camp and various other solutions, so there are no plans for a Mac version at this time. However, Mac and iOS support for other products will play an important part in Cakewalk’s future.

nope simply because Sonar uses Windows witch is why it's the best on windows ....expertise on windows , is what i need ....also giving the fact that OSX is less great when it come to system latency , even if it was osx compatible , better to run Bootcamp !!

Even if they did make an Apple version next year, you would need deep pockets. Those new Mac
Pro's are killer expensive, especially once you add up all the external peripherals you need.
