Anyone else have the Sonivox Pbass and Slapbass plugs disappear?
Mine just disappeared from the vst list one day.
Reinstalling and telling sonar to find them doesn't work.
I see it scan but does not show up in plugs or fx.
Only the stand alone function works.
I communicated with the company but they are bewildered.
I have reinstalled these a few times to no joy.

Try the "rescan existing plugins" option in preferences.   It'll take a little time since the scan process has to work through everything, but this resolved a similar issue for me in the past with Loom and Eighty Eight.   I think it was something in the way the Sonivox plugins are licensed that for some reason doesn't always sync up right with the scanner.

Ah, bummer.   Did you also try the rescan failed plugins option?
 

Yeah, I did every which way I could think of.
I deleted everything ans reinstalled..nothing
I see the damn thing take the time to scan it but no show.
 

So it displays in the scanner but isn't listed in Plugin Manager?   How about within Excluded Plugins checked?
 

That's right, neither the plug manager (under any of them vst, dx,dxi, vsti etc) nor the browser or fx bins.

They're definitely in VST format so DX(i) shouldn't be a factor.   And if you saw them during the scan, you would think they'd at least show up under the Excluded list!
 
So short of uninstalling them, running a complete scan in SONAR, reinstalling them, and then running a complete scan again..   I got nothin'.

I worried that the backup is tainted too. So reinstalling might not do anything.

Are you running Sonar as administrator? Not sure if it's going to solve the issue since I no longer have their plugin (PBass only) on my system (I didn't even remember I owned it until I saw this thread). Maybe I'll install it again and see if it works. But my priority goes to the X3c patch. ;)
