For those of you who like all-in-one vocal processors, you might want to check out the Vocal King from developer JHudStudio.

I did a quick test of this against the popular vocal plugs from Waves -- Greg Wells, Butch Vig, CLA, and JJP. I liked the Vocal King as much or better than any of them. I could easily get a very present, clear, and solid vocal that sounded very good in a mix.
 
The main drawback to the Waves multi-fx boxes is the high CPU hit. No problem there with the Vocal King -- on my system, it's not a CPU-heavy plug at all.

The GUI is easy to use, the meters are nice and clear with smooth action, and everything worked without a hitch. Nice job from a newer developer, and the best part is the price: a mere ten bucks. No-brainer, for sure.

I can't imagine what that duet sounded like, but ... oh, you mean their plugins? Sure, why not, if your CPU can handle both of those hogs. The GW has a smooth sound and nice doubler, delay, and reverb. The BV can dirty up the vocal and shape the EQ to your liking. Hey how about adding the CLA, with its widener and slap echo. Might as well have JJP, Maserati, and Kramer join the party too. By the time you're done, you'd have something, um, interesting I'm sure.

"I was selling at $9.99 as a promo price. Now the price is up. I had put it up to $29.99 at first but when I thought about it, I would rather have happy customers who want to use the Vocal King but can't afford paying too much. $19.99 is a fair medium for the customers and myself."
