OK..Finally got my X3pro upgrade...now what?

Anything special I should or should not do before, during or after installing? I already have EP4 and AD drums so I'm assuming I should not install these at all. And how about the "letter" updates? Any oddities there?

Insert a multitimbrale synth (all stereo out) in X1 , chek how long and then do it in X3...

Not that I know of. As you may know already, if you contact XLN and let them know you already have AD, they will give you an adpak or orsome other deal.

What do you get Ol Pal? Did you get the DVDs or is this a down load? The DVD is not updated where the DL is X3 a.

I think it's recommended to turn off virus protection. X3 will find your version of Melodyne or load Essentials if you don't have a higher version already installed.

I don't know if this will help (I don't have X1 installed any longer) but EZdrummer with all the outputs builds all of the tracks in about 10 seconds in X2. In X3 the tracks are complete in about 7 seconds.

thought I read somewhere the box shipped one was 3a anyway ? I'll wait for them to fix it more with "c" before I think about buying it.

Although I am (and many others) doing quite welll with X3b, that's what I would recommend. May as well get another pass of bug fixes, along with whatever else CW throws in.

The box ships with X3 so I would suggest to X3a and X3b. And of course later this week, update to X3c.
