I am using a Motu 2408MkIII and opening preferences  asio driver and selecting all analogue ins and outs when I save  crashes X3. 
After a few times of this I opened the Motu PCI icon and changed it there first then opened X3 no probs.
Now if I change the routing in preferences all is fine and working.
Might of been the Motu but I can't seem reproduce it now.
