In the PRV the snap continues to stay on even after snap (N) is turned off???

So Keni, seeing as you upgraded, I'd be very interested in hearing your thoughts on take lanes in X3 once you get a chance to give them a workout.

I have joined in that link and in a few minutes I will post both a bug report and a feature request (see my post in that thread)...

Lanes...<sigh>. A very sore topic for me... Though many of the new features such as speed comping are helping make them easier to live with, it's still not as easy on my eyes as Layers were... But if they fix the zoom issues I can get used to it somewhat... The color abilities are also helping... Now we need auto-shading so that lanes appear a sub-color of the track's color so that it's easier to tell lane from track...

We'll see how comfortable I find working with Lanes now... So far I had to disable speed comping from my record mode as it doesn't allow playback of previously recorded data... Pita when doing punch work... But the internal speed comping tools seem very fast and easy to work with...

will turning off "N" and turning off snap in the prv, (the global prv options, located on the top right corner of the prv) turn off snap ?
its only a work around but that might work for you jimmy.

I believe it will, but it is both buggy and counter productive to have to move the mouse there and back to toggle snap while editing...
 
After reading the thread that Paul points to, I just posted both a bug report (brundlefly quotes fact from the Sonar Help pages) and a Feature Request (Lance claims it to be "as intended")...
 
Buggy? It (PRV snap) seems to lock up occasionally and will not allow me to turn it back on..... something's hanging up....
 
I hope the work around helps jimmy tho...
