I'd like to encourage all the newbies on the forum and those who want more information generally to make use of all the articles available through the Support pages.

Go to the top of the forum page click on Support and then Support by Product. You can then drill down to a specific product check out the tech tip pages and you'll get some easy to read advice using Sonar as the basis for the information.

This forum (well it was a news group when I started) was the reason I went with CW. There were so many people willing to help point me in the right direction to gain the knowledge I needed to accomplish what I wanted.
 
And with the advances made in social media these days the amount of info available is mind boggling. I mean just go to youtube and there is something there to show you what you need to know. Cakewalk TV would have been a dream come true when I started this!

I couldn't agree with you more! This forum and the great, great group of guys and gals that regularly "participate" in the dialogue here, is just beyond .... well....anything.
 
Now I don't regularly participate in other DAW forums, so I don't know for sure, but I do read about them here (and their lack of, in some cases 'support') That's why I know  that we have something great here! 
 
I especially note the numbers of new members 'newbies" (mean no disrespect at all, by the way, WELCOME!) and the great questions that they ask shows an increase in the use of the great Cakewalk products! 
 
Now based on my length of time as a member and the low number of posts that I have, you know that I don't always post, but that doesn't mean that I don't read all the postings here. I read them till my eyes bleed! (Sorry, it must be the season??)
 
Anyway, just some ramblings and some thoughts from an oldie....

I learn so much on these forums.  Even a few who's online personalites come off as a bit harsh offer a wealth of knowledge on Sonar and audio production in general.  Dan has really helped make transitioning to X3 a lot easier with helpful, practical blog posts.
