Nope, sorry, not playing that game. Anyone who's curious to hear for themselves what the plugin does or doesn't do can download the thing and go nuts. I won't object if anyone disagrees with my posted opinion.
It is surprising to me that so many have stated they don't hear the effect on a single track -- can't anyone perceive the spectral changes produced by cranking the Detail knob? Maybe try listening to an acoustic guitar track on good headphones. If you still can't hear it, you won't likely hear the difference on a full mix either. That's fine, it won't make or break your song. Carry on.
Cheers,
Eddie
for me on drums, i would say you would have to be deaf in both ears not to be able to hear what it does, to me it was quite obvious, and most certainly better. tried it on vocals, again . . . what it does was easily heard, not quite as pronounced as on drums, on over driven guitars again quite easily noticeable, but a little less so than on vocals, perhaps clean guitars would be more obvious, but it was still obvious to me. as yet to try with bass or entire mix scenario, but i can certainly hear it quite easily and for me the after sounded better than the before in all cases.
i'd suggest hearing tests all round
