It's just a name. No idea how they came up with it. It's mentioned nowhere on their History and About Us pages. So, hopefully, there's a forum member who knows the history.

Don't know why Arturia specifically, but companies often put a lot of effort into finding a name that's pronounceable in many languages, hopefully has no undesirable meaning in any language and is distinctive and easy to remember and recognise.

"Kodak" (Eastman Kodak to give the company its full name) is often credited with being an early example of the process. Kodak's founder George Eastman said so anyway.

Maybe Artur and his wife Maria formed the company?

I believe it's either a company name or when someone has a deceptive direction called  arturia motive. I may be mistaken
