Just curious. Did you ever win a giveaway content from one of the web-sites, web-stores, magazines you ever frequent? I am talking about legitimate companies (e.g., SOS magazine, online music stores, etc). I am not doubting their legitimacy, but just wondering if anyone ever succeeded in winning?

I've entered a few, but then usually get a notification saying "sorry, we forgot to say that it's USA-only," and then eternal spam inviting me to join other contests that I don't qualify for...
 
I won a week in Mexico from a contest with the Hilton Hotel chain, but I don't think that's what you're looking for.

On Facebook a few years ago, I won a Zoom multi-effect/amp sim, a DBX compressor and a Steinberg remote control for Cubase.
 
Strangely enough, I was not entering that many giveaways but I guess I was on a winning streak. 
 
It has been a while since I won anything, though.

About 15 years ago I won a Creative Zen Sleek Photo from Dell computers. I didn't even know there was a contest until I went to their web site for some tech support.

A few times I've gotten lucky and won something, but most of the time it's just a loss at the ATM machine.

Not an online contest, but way back in the 1970s, I won a T-shirt and boom mike stand from a local music store.
