It's not possible but you can upgrade to SONAR X3 for $49. Pretty good deal for all the new features since X1. It's $99 for SONAR X3 Studio which is really a fantastic value.

I completely understand Beepster's frustration, which in his position I would share, however from my selfish point of view it sounds like the way ahead. I'm in England, is that path available here? And are there any issues between using a US version here, PAL/NTSC/region etc? Thanks.

I can find an upgrade to X3 basic, but I don't see an upgrade path from there to X3 Producer? That option isn't available on the Cakewalk store page I'm looking at.


The upgrade from "any other Sonar owner" is $359. It doesn't say anything about an upgrade from X3 to X3 Producer.

Sorry if I misunderstood. There is no specific SONAR X3 to SONAR X3 Producer upgrade. I thought you were going from SONAR X1 Essential to SONAR X3. That's 39 GBP.
 
If you want to go from SONAR X1 Essential to SONAR X3 Producer, that's 319GBP.
