This has been a thorn in my side for awhile.  I have Sonar 8 power and have gone through all of the tutorials but I can't figure out how to quick bounce/freeze a vst and not have any of the processing effects be applied to the created wave.  My problem is that somewhere between a bunch of freezes and freezes I have no idea if the track eq was applied to what I recorded earlier or not.  I've been getting around this by bypassing the effects bin and disabling the track eq before I freeze but it seems like i'm taking an extra step and making things more cumbersome than necessary.

Is there a way to have a vst bounced to audio and not have any effects bounced with it?

Thanks!

Right-click on the track header and in the context menu select Freeze -> Freeze Options. Un-check the "Track fx" option. When the track is subsequently frozen, effects will not have been printed and the fx bin will still be active.

Thanks for the reply.  This is going to sound like a dumb question but what are you referring to as the track header?  I've right clicked on just about every square inch of every view and haven't located the option you mentioned in Sonar 8 Producer.

On the plus side i've found a ton of hidden options i had no clue existed before.
