Spacey,
I interpreted your "nailed it Rain" as agreement to the general support of the OP. Maybe that was a mistake. I liked you mentioning that there are forums where people are gracious. Funny comment on me being relatively new. I have been around forever just don't post tons. Recent political events have pushed me to speak up for behavior that promotes thinking and against the herd which villifies everything. It is almost always more complicated that what is presented in forums.
I agree with Rains statement is accurate -often for this forum.
Possibly Facebook but I don't know. Of course I didn't read "people" as "all people". (and my agreement doesn't make it true...I'm very familiar with being wrong)
I guess the recent political actions have many people dealing with many issues. I'm not politically smart enough to know what's right or wrong...the picture is to big for me to see it all. I guess that's why I don't really have much to say about topics that are taboo anyway.
I do enjoy the forums that are topic specific. Easy to stay focused and respectful. Here it's easy to get kicked in the shin, not know why or if it was in fun or not.
Here you have to watch what you say...I haven't got that fully understood though...for instance you can say something like, "that's strange" and instead of being asked; "why is it strange?" you best have your sword and shield handy or be ready to run. Of course not always...one never knows when.
Sorry Scott....I do ramble when they let me out.
Yeah...I did notice posts and not your membership date...my bad.
