Reinstalling Sonar 4.0.3 on another Win XP box after a hardware failure. After installing the Aarvark driver for the Q10 and installing Sonar 4.0.3, Sonar does not see the Aardvark as an audio device. Any suggestions would be very appreciated.

Since the discontinuation of Cakewalk, I plan to move to a laptop (Win or Mac) with Pro Tools and a Focusrite audio interface. But I have years of content in Cakewalk Sonar, some of which I'd love to save and move to my new platform.

Thank you very much,
Tom

A quick Google search I find nothing but people not getting them to work, Seems like a better interface would be needed.

Johnny V,
Thank you very much for the fast and helpful reply. After reading through the information in the links you provided, I believe this was a case of user error on my part. I needed to select the ASIO drivers in Sonar:
1. From the Options menu, select Audio.
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. For Driver Mode, select ASIO.

The Aardvark inputs and outputs are now available in Sonar.

@Cactus An Aardvark Q10 was one of the best medium level interfaces back in 2001 :). And, of course, Aadvark are now Antelope, quality kit. I was upset when my Aardvark became obsolete as my PCs became more powerful and moved on to x64 platform.
