Hi Xers...

Though I have not purchased X3 yet (Next Monday I Hope), I want to thank The Bakers for adding the Spectrum Analyzer to the already wonderful Quad EQ... Something I've wanted for a long time. I find it a handy tool and very cumbersome to have in a separate plugin tho that can be handy at times too, of course...

Thanks Bakers!

It's nice Keni! Used it the other day on an older project. I found it very useful.

+1! The whole new EQ GUI is a treat to work with!

Feature request though: Can we please have freq audition sweeping like in iZotope Ozone/Alloy? Pretty please? I routinely use the Alloy EQ for that feature alone!

Is that where you can solo a specific band on-the-fly?   If so...   +2

I'd like to see a dedicated Solo & Mute button on the Quad Curve flyout

It's a very useful addition, use it all the time now.

With the iZotope EQs, you hold alt and sweep. This soloes a narrow peak at the mouse pointer. Invaluable for finding problem freqs!

Ah...  gotcha.   Yes, I do like Ozone's EQ a lot, it's very felxible.   But I also like the pure UI aspect of the Quad Curve EQ even better.

Now I'm picturing CW coming up with an over the top, fully decked out version of the current Quad Curve as an optional PC module.   That would be sweet.

It is indeed fabulous. My only minor gripe is that I wish we could detach them from the PC for the purposes of comparing two EQ's side by side, without having to have one in the inspector and one in the console (an awkward workaround). Then again, I'm not sure if it would be practical to have things detach from the PC.
