Lynn,
That is one fat mix...dripping with blues! The volumes, pans and space are all excellent.
There are two things I would do if I were mixing:
1. add a tiny, and I mean tiny bit of reverb to the snare...use pre delay so that it kicks in after the snare hit.
2. on your vocals and guitar solos in some places you are right on the beat...I would nudge them back ever so slightly so it sounds like your playing behind the beat...like the old jazz cats.

I love the tune, I love your vocals and I love the guitar work...that organ is sooooo fat too! Great job!

Hi, Mark.  These are great ideas, and I will put them to use.  It fabulous to have your ears helping me, as well as all the others sets of ears that have given me advice.  Stay tuned!

Thanks Lynn,
The changes I suggested should be very minute. Cosmetic. Your performance and mix are both top shelf!
I have learned so much from the people in this forum. It's the gift that keeps on giving.
Take care,
Mark

Mark, I added a touch of reverb to the snare and took your suggestion about the predelay.  I used the rich sounding room preset in Rematrix Solo.  And, to those who've requested a harmonica, well.... you asked for it.  I couldn't get John Mayall, so you have to settle for me.  It's been 25 years, and I'm a little rusty, but here's a taste of mediocre harp playing.  I hope I don't offend any real harp players.  The good news is, I can keep working on this forever.  Thanks again to all who have contributed!

Hi Lynn,

Sounded great to me Lynn... This production of yours gets better each time. But you have to put it down some time LOL

Hey Lynn - First listen tonight. Can't compare the old way with the new way, but this is dynamite. You can stop tweaking any time, buddy.
